Study of drinking water supply to rural populations in southern Essaouira Province and south-western Chichaoua Porvince, Morocco

The purpose of this project is to carry out a Drinking Water Supply Study of the Rural Population of the South of Essaouira Province and the Southwest of Chichaoua Province. The project consisted of four missions carried out by IPROconsult Morocco and MORA Etudes:
Mission I:
Critical analysis of existing studies concerning the study area, Review of the current situation of rural water supply, water resources census and analysis and preparation of the Needs and Resources Assessment.
Mission II:
In the light of the results of mission I, this mission focuses on the definition of plausible supply schemes, the dimensioning of structures and the technical and economic comparison of the various possible variants.
Mission III:
Detailed Preliminary Project Studies. The purpose of this mission is to determine in a clear and precise manner all the basic characteristics necessary for the establishment of companies' consultation files with the necessary supporting elements and
calculation notes as well as the plans necessary for understanding the project.
Mission IV:
Preparation of the tendering process. Study and preparation of tender docu-ments for carrying out the work of the studies of the previous mission.
